Rapper to Play Dublin's 02 on March 21
It's over ten years since 50 Cent released his first single, How to Rob, in 1999, but he became really famous when Eminem declared him his favourite rapper. His single Wanksta appeared on Eminem's 8 Mile soundtrack - and since then, 50 Cent has been enjoying growing success, touring Europe extensively in 2004. He hasn't looked back since. Fiddy’s been quiet these days, though, as gangsta rap seems to have run out of ways to shock and appall. Still, he can always fall back on last year's Before I Self Destruct album, plenty of film work and a computer game that makes Grand Theft Auto look like Mass from the Pro-Cathedral before he's forced to return to his old ways.
